My resume looked wonderful!!! I almost didn't recognize myself although it was all true. I didn't get the job - that one, either! Not even an interview!!!! All I needed was a foot in the door for an interview and the job would be mine!!! For all I knew - someone must have rewritten my masterpiece on toilet paper!!!!
REWRITE TIME - what could I change? I've got this version, that version...looks great either way!!! It isn't too long and it isn't too short. What could I possibly add or subtract???
What is Missing? Where's the MAGIC?

I VOLUNTEER.. quite a bit! in several capacities! over the course of many years! it is documented!!! Those were my thoughts - I edited my resume. I translated my volunteer experience into job skills - went with a functional/chronological hybrid resume.
It worked Magic!!! I got the job!!!
